Prochain Artus-Systems is a cooperation of research, teaching and industry. The president, Prof. Dr. Jörg Wellnitz is professor on the Fachhochschule Ingolstadt, univesity for applied science and teaching light-building-construction. Due to historical interests he came apon mail meshes in traditional amors. He improved this antique technique in modern way with a few partners in the industry. Nowadays the association can research, produce and test mail meshes for several applications. PROCHAIN Artus-Systems is a cooperation of Friedrich Münch GmbH + Co KG, Alpina Sports and Fachhochschule Ingolstadt. In June 2005 a great knight joust was shown at Pappenheim, Naturpark Altmühltal. Prochain e.V. presented coats of mail and ancient suits of armour. News
